The Moulin Rouge Project

Moulin Rouge has been my favorite movie from the moment I finished watching the movie for the first time. The sets, the costumes, Kidman & McGregor, all perfection. The Orphean Myth has a way of pulling at my heartstrings no matter how I see it played out, but this retelling in particular struck me. Now, with my dear friend Rachel in the lead role, I get a chance to make a fan project out of it. ​

My intention is for this project to be a fully crowd funded one. Much like my Greenleaves project, patrons will have the opportunity to become part of the art and contribute financially and be rewarded. Tiers and rewards will be revealed soon, but for now I am taking interest and applications for the following roles ONLY:

All roles are open to everyone regardless of gender identity, race, and ability. While the roles do not pay, my intention is to at least partially if not fully offer a travel and daily food stipend as well as lodging for all cast members.

Project dates will be determined at a later date, but shooting will be in August 2027.

Shooting will take place in NYC.
