World's End

A Coastal Retreat for telling Epic Tales
Lakeside, Oregon | October 8-11, 2026

The fog rolls across the coast in early October. The leaves being to fade. The whispers of things forgetten grow louder.

Some stories linger, caught in salt and fog and the dirt.

The Oregon coast pulls you to the place where the forest runs out of land and the sea has been eating at the cliffs for thousands of years.

This is where we're going. Explore three photoshoot themes all built for the wild world around us. For portraits that feel like they were born of this world- but found their way into the next.

World's End is the FINAL retreat I will be adding to my goodbye series. Couldn't leave without an adieu to the West Coast.

The Location

Our Airbnb in Lakeside is perfectly situated at the edge of incredible locations for portraits. Dunes, sandstone cliffs, sea stacks, and foggy forests- we will have it all for incredible thematic photography.

The Shoots

Three shoots over the weekend — each one built around the ethereal moody coast.

LOST TO THE SEA

In this theme, you can decide which sea spirit you will embody. Are you a maiden clad in sheer flowing fabrics, a dark sea witch haunting sailors at night, a lonely sailor who fell overboard? We will rise early to capture the blue hour and hopefully fog rolling across the rocky shores.

OLD GODS

Think the Green Knight, forest dyads, goddesses of the earth. In this theme, you will be portraying beings who protect the forest and have done so for thousands of years. Golden hour light will beam through the changing leaves and moss, creating the perfect honeyed rays dancing upon your face.

Poisoner's Garden

Belladonna, foxglove, oleander...take a stoll through the garden if you dare. Looks for this shoot are inspired by the deep jewel tones of beautiful but deadly plants.
