A summer weekend where time moves slower and the light never quite fades.

Some places feel like they've been waiting for you.

The farmhouse has stood since 1848. Ninety acres of sweeping countryside, golden fields, and skies that go on forever. For one long weekend in June, it's ours.

This is a love letter to light. To the warmth of late afternoon sun, to soft linen garments in open fields, to the kind of photographs that make you feel like summer will last forever.

The Location

Nestled in the Ohio countryside, the property feels delightfully removed from the world. The kind of place where you wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to crickets and forget, for a few days, that ordinary life exists.

The Shoots

Three shoots over the weekend — each one built around the light, the land, and the feeling of being exactly where you're supposed to be.

DAWN

Ethereal Beings

Clad in hues of white, ivory, cream, or the palest yellow, you will glide through the dawn light. We will rise before dawn to venture out into the crisp morning air and capture the beautiful sunlight pouring through tree leaves and morning mist.

GOLDEN HOUR

Picnic at Hanging Rock

Inspired by the gorgeous visuals of the 1975 film set in 1900 about students who venture out on a picnic and vanish without a trace. You will don your linen dresses, waistcoats, trousers and parasols and we will find a beautiful picnic spot for this shoot.

DUSK

Candlelight

After the light fades, we will have to make our own. Once again wearing hues of white you will embrace the soft darkness and will capture quiet moments reading, exploring hallways, and. gazing into looking glasses.

Thursday evening you arrive. You meet your people. You settle in.

By Friday you'll feel like you've known everyone for years. That's the thing about retreats. There's something about shared beauty that accelerates connection. By Sunday morning when you pack your bags, you won't want to leave.

Thursday- Arrivals & Introductions. No set arrival time.

Friday & Saturday- Shoots, a Workshop, Games, Relaxation

Sunday- Checkout by 10am
